I had a pleasant stay at the Rich Lanna House, which is conveniently located on the outskirts of the old city, making it easy to explore the main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and I enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety. While my room was on the small side, it was comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. However, I did experience some issues with the bathroom's smell and a bit of dust in the decorations that detracted from the overall experience.

My stay at Rich Lanna House was pleasant overall, with great staff and a lovely atmosphere. though I encountered a few minor issues. The central location made it easy to explore Chiang Mai, but the WiFi was frustratingly slow at times. While the rooms had some drawbacks, the charm of the hotel and its amenities compensated nicely.

My stay at Rich Lanna House was a mixed experience. The boutique design was charming, reflecting traditional Northern Thai style, while the location within the old city was perfect for exploring. However, I faced some issues with room cleanliness and noise levels.

Rooms

The Lanna Deluxe Room had gorgeous traditional timber furnishings and spacious design, but I did encounter some maintenance issues like mildew. Although the aesthetics were lovely, the room didn't completely match the photos I saw before booking.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, always accommodating my requests. However, communication was a bit tricky at times, which made some interactions less smooth than I would have liked.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated just inside the city walls. This made it easy to explore the local attractions and find great cafes nearby, though I did notice some street noise which could be disruptive.

The breakfast was simple yet filling, offering both European and Asian options. The dining area was cozy and a nice way to start the day, but it did get crowded if you weren't there early.

The pool was a good retreat after a hot day of sightseeing, and overall, the facilities were well maintained. Though it was a smaller guesthouse, the charm was evident in its design and atmosphere.

My stay at Rich Lanna House had its ups and downs. I loved the traditional Thai design and central location, which made exploring Chiang Mai convenient. However, I did notice the cleanliness issues and some mold that detracted from the experience. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there’s room for improvement.

Rooms

I found the room comfortable, but it had some cleanliness concerns like mold and dirt on the walls. The bathroom needed attention too. It was spacious enough for a king-size bed and had a nice shower, but it could have used more maintenance.
